Week 7 - Model

This week I created another model with the idea of bringing as much light into the room as possible. I decided to split the room into two sections, to separate the study and bed. However, this brought up the challenge of allowing light throughout the whole room. I used a mashrabiya to separate the room into its sections while allowing light to pass through and add aesthetic quality to the room. To allow more light into the room during the day, I curved the roof which allowed more light to pass through the gaps

This model is made of card paper and uses a 1:20 scale.
